Welcome to the Bristol Civil Service Table Tennis Club. We are the largest table tennis club in Bristol and the surrounding area, with over 100 members and a hall accommodating six tables, and based within the Bristol Civil Service Sports Club in North Bristol.
Our club caters to players of all abilities, from total beginner to seasoned British League players. We have 17 competitive teams spread throughout the Bristol and District League — from division six all the way to Premier division.
Alongside competitive league play, our club hosts a thriving hub of social players of varying abilities, with organised sessions for members to attend on Sunday nights (6pm – 8:30pm) as well as Tuesday and Thursday mornings (11am – 12:30pm).
We also have a dedicated Junior session on Saturday mornings (10am – 12 noon) led by Tony, a highly experienced league player, and assisted by Austin, our qualified coach. These Junior sessions cater to children of all abilities and ages and aim to provide an active, fun, and social experience that lets children develop new skills and improve at table tennis! Juniors ready to take the next step in a more competitive setting can also represent the club in one of our four Junior League teams.
Beyond organised sessions, members benefit from the opportunity to play at any time during the Bristol Civil Service Sports Club’s general opening hours and outside of league matches (which take place Monday – Thursday during the winter season, which runs late September to early May).
